We’ve said it before. We’ve seen it already. But we’ll say it once again: it’s highly unlikely that Verizon is going to sell the Nexus One in stores. So though DigiTimes is saying that HTC is shipping Nexus Ones to Verizon, we’re just not buying it. Why would Verizon be stocking inventory of a phone they’ll never sell in their own retail stores? Like the T-Mobile Nexus One, the Verizon Nexus One is going to be sold exclusively through google.com/phone. And whether it’s beneficial or not for Google to be committed to that strategy, that’s on them.
