ARCHOS unleases 45 Helium 4G and 50 Helium 4G pretty cheap unlocked
CES-related news continues to come! This time, it’s ARCHOS making the announcement. The big part of the story here is how cheap the phones are: $200 and $250 respectively.
These phones come unlocked and both phones announced today support LTE on the 800, 1800, 2100 and 2600 MHz bands.
Both also have quad-core Qualcomm MSM8926 processors and 1 GB of RAM.
Oh, and here’s something else that will make many people happy: both phones have MicroSD slots to satiate your expandable storage needs. Both phones also run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The ARCHOS 50 Helium 4G
The ARCHOS 50 Helium 4G (try saying that five times fast) packs a 5.0-inch IPS screen (1280×720). In fact, you can memorize that by removing the decimal point from the screen size (the 50 has a 5.0-inch screen).
It packs 8 GB internal storage, an 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and a 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery.
The ARCHOS 45 Helium 4G
This one has 4.5-inch IPS 854×480 screen. Again, you can remove the decimal point in the screen size to get the name of this model (the 45 has a 4.5-inch screen).
It packs half the internal storage of the 50 (4 GB), a 5 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. Its battery is of the Li-ion 1700 mAh variety.
