Verizon has announced that two versions of the Galaxy J3 are now available on its network with the J3 V being added to the catalog. Both the new 16GB Galaxy J3 V and 8GB Galaxy J3 (2016) support Verizon’s LTE network allowing owners to take advantage of 4G transfer speeds. Not only that, but you’re also looking at a 5-inch S-AMOLED display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.
Storage expansion is possible thanks to the included microSD slot, and the 2MP front-facing camera and 5MP main shooter will ensure those special moments aren’t missed. They’re both intriguing handsets for those who are seeking a more powerful smartphone experience on Android, but do not have necessary funds for a Galaxy S7.
Verizon has the J3 V (with 16GB) on device payment plans for $7 a month or $39.99 with a two-year contract. Those seeking the J3 (2016) will need to pay $109.99 upfront on Verizon’s prepaid plans. They have a few available to choose from:
- $60 per month for unlimited talk and text with 3GB of data
- $45 per month for unlimited talk and text with 1GB of data
- $30 per month for unlimited talk and text with Wi-Fi only access for data
Both are available for order online today and the Galaxy J3 V will hit stores on June 23.
