The latest round of Sony phones are available in the U.S. — and they can get pricey.

The new Xperia X series covers a broad range of prices, and the only way you’re going to get one is buying unlocked away from your carrier. Thankfully Sony has made the proper deals with several different retailers to have all four models — the X, X Performance, XA and XA Ultra — available in a wide variety of colors so you can have your pick from all of the options.

Here’s where you can buy the Xperia X series of phones in the U.S. unlocked.

Xperia X

The bit-too-expensive but solid all-around performer Xperia X will set you back a cool $499 at launch, and is available in four colors — black, white, lime gold and rose gold.

Xperia X Performance

The Xperia X Performance is the top of this line, and so is its price at a rather amazing $699 (MSRP). The phone has a lot going for it, but probably not enough to justify that price … either way, you can give it a look at one of a few different retailers, again in the same four colors — black, white, lime gold and rose gold — as the standard X.

Xperia XA

The lowest-end phone of the group is the Xperia XA, which offers an intriguing value at $279 at launch — it doesn’t have all of the high-end specs of the previous two phones, but it does offer that classic Sony design and something solid for your money overall. The same four color choices apply here as well.

Xperia XA Ultra

As the name would lead you to believe, the XA Ultra is the same mid-range handset as the XA … only much bigger with a 6-inch display. You’ll pay an extra $90 (so, $369 total) for the larger display, bigger battery and higher-resolution camera. Sadly, there’s no rose gold color option here like the other three phones … just black, white and lime gold.
