We reviewed File And Image Uploader back in 2009 for the first time and found it to be a very comprehensive and useful tool to upload files and images to file hosts on the Internet.
Many things have changed since our first review of the portable software program, which is why we have decided to take the opportunity to review the latest version of the program. It has been released just a couple of days ago.
File and Image Uploader supports 550 file hosts, 104 video hosts, 20 multi hosts and 68 image hosts in the latest version of the program. Basically, any file hosting service of known and many, many niche ones are supported by the application.
The program is provided by the developer as a free version. A version for registered users and a premium version are also offered. Registered users get a key if they donate at least $3 via PayPal while the premium version supports commercial uses.
The main difference between the versions are the following ones:
- Free version: up to 10GB of data traffic per day with up to 8 parallel downloads. Some functions, hosts and accounts not available.
- Registered version: up to 50 GB of data traffic per day with up to 100 parallel downloads.
- Premium version: unlimited.
File And Image Uploader
Files can be uploaded with just a few clicks. The main toolbar lists icons to add files or folders to the application. This opens a browser that you use to pick local files that you want to upload to one or multiple hosts.
File and Image Uploader displays a list of preferences and options afterwards. You may use the screen to select one or multiple file hosting services, and configure various upload related settings.
Settings include splitting large files automatically, flagging the file as adult or public, scrambling the file name, or adding a password. You may furthermore queue uploads, or start them right away once you have made the selection.
The program lists the files in its main interface afterwards along with transfer speeds and a progress bar. A right-click on any entry opens a context menu with options to pause or queue downloads as well as select another host where the file should be uploaded to.

The log at the bottom lists the url of each file that has been uploaded with right-click options to copy the url or open the file directly in Internet Explorer.
File hosting accounts can be added in the application’s settings. It is here possible to add accounts for more than one hundred different file hosts so that these accounts can be used when uploading files to those hosting services.
File And Image Uploader supports several services that upload files to multiple file hosts at once including Multiload, Direct Mirror or Flash Mirrors.
A click on File Hosters opens the list of supported hosting services. This list is interesting as it highlights various parameters such as the maximum file size or period in which files are not deleted.
The preferences list several interesting options. You may hide certain file hosters for instance to speed up the selection process. Another interesting option is the ability to enable context menu links in Explorer, or protect the program the settings with a password.
Verdict
File And Image Uploader is an excellent software program for users who regularly upload files or images to file and image hosts. The program is portable and compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It can be downloaded from the developer’s website.
