Verizon has announced that customers interested in pre-ordering the 4G-connected Samsung Gear S2 Classic will be able to do so starting on Feb. 23. Nearly everything about this watch is the same as the non-cellular model, except for that you will now be able to add this as a line on your account, giving the watch its own number. With this, you’ll be able to make and receive phone calls as well as send text messages right from your wrist, without having to be paired to your phone.
The carrier has priced the watch at $399 full retail, or $349 on a new two-year contract. You’ll be able to add it to your Verizon account for just $5 a month. Pre-orders begin on Feb. 23 online.
