The 4G-connected variant of Samsung’s Gear S2 Classic will be making its way to Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S. on March 11. You’ve already been able to purchase the Gear S2 Classic without its own cellular connectivity, but should you want need to have your watch connected to its own number, you’ll soon be able to do just that. This means making and receiving phone calls, texts and using other data services from your wrist without needing to be paired to a smartphone. Besides the addition of the cellular radios, you won’t notice any other changes to the smartwatch.
Exact details on pricing and availability will be set by each carrier independently. T-Mobile has already stated that it will be offering the Gear S2 Classic 4G for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $16.67, or for $399 outright. Verizon and AT&T have yet to release pricing, but we will update when they do.
