Windows 10 lets you access it through different ways. This post will elaborate on how you can automatically sign in to it, bypassing the lockscreen and saving time.

Windows 10 has been made to please us. It contains a ton of features which we can use for different purposes. A lot of it’s features are used by us frequently such as OneDrive, installing apps on SD cards to make them more portable and space saving etc. Other features, not so much such as turning off tips. Whatever the case, it is extremely malleable with tons of ways to do a single thing.

Speaking of the ton of ways to do a single thing, Windows lets you access it in many ways as well. It offers you multiple ways to access your content depending on which suits you best. For instance, if you’re a user who has to share his/her computer with their siblings, you would probably want your content to be password or PIN protected. PIN gives you a slightly quicker access to your content but also keeps your privacy to a max.

There goes the login with PIN and passwords. What if you’re a only child or a user with a private computer which doesn’t really stand any chance of getting peeked on by someone? In that case, having a password or no password would pretty much mean the same thing for you. So, you’d rather avoid this extra step to access your content and automatically sign in to Windows 10. Here’s how you can do that.

Steps to automatically sign in to Windows 10

Step 1: Open Run by pressing Windows+R.

Step 2: Type in the following command and press enter.

[ netplwiz ]

Step 3: Uncheck the box that says: Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer then click on OK.

Step 4: Confirm you’re the owner of your PC by typing in your password twice then click OK as shown in the image below.

You’re done. For the next time, your computer will politely usher you into Windows 10, skipping the lock screen in the process, without asking anything.

Note: You can still use Windows+L to lock your computer. If you do so, you’ll have to enter your password again to be able to access your account again.
