The OnePlus X Champagne Edition is now available for purchase in India. The phone is up for sale on Amazon India for ₹16,999 ($256), which is the same price as the standard Onyx variant. Users with an invite to the standard model can redeem it to get their hands on the Champagne version.
Other than the new color option, there isn’t much that’s different from the Onyx variant. You’ll get a 5-inch Full HD screen, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD slot, 13MP camera, 8MP front shooter, dual-SIM 4G connectivity, and a 2,525mAh battery. On the software front, there’s OxygenOS 2 running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The limited-edition model made its debut in China, and is also available in European markets. Although OnePlus has announced open sales of the OnePlus X in global markets every Tuesday, it is yet to bring the same to Indian consumers. As such, you’re going to need an invite to get your hands on any variant of the OnePlus X.
