Just as promised, NVIDIA has begun pushing the Marshmallow update to its Shield Tablet K1. The update was promised before the end of the year, and weighing in at 665MB it brings a number of big changes to the tablet. With Adoptable Storage you’ll be able to format your memory card and use it just like internal memory, and Now on Tap can help you find more relevant information based on what is on your screen.
In addition, you’ll notice some user interface changes, like new wallpapers, customizable quick settings and more. The NVIDIA Shield camera has a new user interface as well, and it has gained real-time HD image effects. If you’ve got a Shield Tablet K1, you will want to head to your Settings then About and check for the update. Once you’ve installed it, be sure to let us know how it goes for you.
