Huawei, as it’s prone to do, had a wall’s worth of phones waiting for folks on the way out of its CES 2016 press conference. And in a good many of those bags, unsurprising to those who had just attended said press conference, was a phone. It was a phone just announced a few minutes earlier. It was, in fact, the gold Nexus 6P.
And if you think about it, maybe Las Vegas is the perfect place to launch the new color. In the shadow of the Golden Nugget. Or maybe even the Trump International Hotel. Gold and Vegas just work.
Other than the color — which spans the entire phone save for the display — there’s nothing new about this 6P.
But it is gold. A gold Nexus 6P. Available now for $499 from the Google Store.
