Google has announced on the official Android Blog the company will be donating to special needs education projects with every Android Pay purchase. Teaming up with DonorsChoose.org, purchases made via the payment service will support 6.4 million children in the US education system who have special needs.
With every purchase with Android Pay, starting today and lasting through December 31, Google will donate $1 (up to a total of $1 million) to special needs education projects. And since it’s Thanksgiving, Google will double the amount of donations for every Android Pay purchase on Black Friday.
