Opera Mini has been updated with some interesting new features for those who enjoy downloading files to their smartphone. The company behind the popular web browser has implemented new functionality to help make it easier for you to manage downloads. From controlling the number of files you download simultaneously to an alert as to when you’re downloading large files (over 15MB).
Here’s the full list of improvements when it comes to downloads:
- Control the number of files you download simultaneously. Either restrict Opera Mini to downloading between one and five files when using mobile data, or set it to unlimited to make the most out of a fast Wi-Fi connection.
- Get alerts when downloading large files, over 15MB. Choose to download them only over Wi-Fi so they do not eat into your data plan.
- Decide if you want to save all downloaded files in a default location, or choose where to save them each time you download.
Aside from the above, there’s a new and updated search bar. This will enable you to select a category to search in, which can be anything from videos to a standard web search. Overall, it’s quite the update we’re sure fans of the browser will appreciate.
You can download the latest Opera Mini update from Google Play now.
