Xiaomi’s all set to introduce a new handset on November 24, and it is increasingly looking likely that the device is the Redmi Note 2 Pro. The Chinese vendor has started teasing the phone on social media, giving us a look at the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The handset will be Xiaomi’s first to feature an all-metallic chassis, as well as the first to offer a fingerprint scanner. Earlier leaks suggested that its specs are identical to that of the standard Redmi Note 2, which means a 5-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, 13MP camera, 5MP front shooter, and a 3,060mAh battery.
Given that the device features a fingerprint scanner, it will be interesting to see if it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
