In usual combative form, T-Mobile CEO John Legere took to Twitter today to rail against Sprint over its new promotion that offers to cut customers’ bills by 50 percent when switching from a competing carrier. In a series of Tweets, Legere took Sprint to task over everything from activation fees to missing plan features and more (all compared to T-Mobile, of course). We’ll just let some of the Tweets speak for themselves:
1. @TMobile customers get access to whatever plan they want. On @sprint, you have to leave and come back take advantage! #SprintCountdown

4. @TMobile customers don’t have activation fees. @sprint charges $36 per line! #SprintCountdown #halfoffthetruth

7. @TMobile customers get tethering included in their plans. Not on @Sprint’s new 50% off offer. #SprintCountdown #halfoffthetruth

Of course, Legere is responding to Sprint’s newly unveiled promotion offering to cut bills in half when switching from T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T. Sprint also announced the launch of a faster “LTE Plus” network that arrived in 77 initial markets today.
