If this year’s One series isn’t confusing enough, HTC has added another model to the mix, dubbed the One M9s. Given the similarities with the One M9e that was unveiled in China in October, it looks like the One M9s is a localized version of the handset destined for the Taiwanese market.
The specs on offer include a 5-inch Full HD display, 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot that can hold up to 2TB, 13MP camera with f/2.0 lens and OIS backed by a sapphire crystal front element, 4MP UltraPixel front shooter, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and a 2,840mAh battery.
Design-wise, the phone features the same all-metal chassis as the standard One M9. The One M9s is now available for pre-order in Taiwan for NT$12,900 ($395)
