Fossil has announced its Q line of connected accessories, one of which is its Android Wear-powered smartwatch. The Founder is the company’s first Android Wear smartwatch, and combines power and style in a nice looking package. The team at Fossil worked closely with Intel and Google to make sure that it not only looked good, but performed excellent as well. While Fossil hasn’t detailed much about the specs, it does note what will help set the Q Founder apart.
The Founder will feature a built-in fitness tracker that will let you know how many calories you’ve burned, as well as providing results in a more intriguing way to make your activities a bit more fun. You’ll be able to filter your notifications by contacts and apps you care about, or elect to get them all if you wish.
Like other new Android Wear smartwatches, the Q Founder will be compatible with both Android and iOS. Fossil has said that it will be available just in time for the holiday shopping season, and pricing will start at $275.
