The Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro may be a smartphone the Chinese manufacturer uses to launch itself into the US consumer market. The handset was spotted sailing through the FCC, signalling the possibility that we could soon see a state-side launch.
For those who aren’t familiar with the smartphone, the Redmi 2 Pro features a 4.7-inch display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2,200 mAh battery, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and support for 4G LTE.
While it’s no guarantee that Xiaomi will release the Redmi 2 Pro in the US, the company is at least considering the move.
