Samsung has announced the Z3, the company’s latest Tizen-powered smartphone. This affordable mid-range handset will be available from this month in the choice of gold, black, or silver for ₹8,490 ($130).
Taking advantage of Samsung’s “Ultra Power Saving Mode”, the Z3 will be able to operate on standby for up to 33 hours with less than 10 percent battery remaining. For those who are restricted by the amount of data they can consume on a monthly basis, the company has a data saving option that boasts a data usage reduction of up to 40 percent.
Speaking of specifications, the Z3 will come with a 5-inch Super-AMOLED display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2,600mAh battery, a rear 8-MP shooter (with front-facing 5-MP camera), Bluetooth 4.0, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage (with expansion available).
A personalized My Galaxy app will be at hand to those who wish to take advantage of various exclusive services, including local deals, entertainment content, as well as value options on travel, movies, fashion and more. MixRadio will also be pre-loaded on the Samsung Z3, offering access to over 30 million songs and curated mixes.
