Verizon is pushing out a security update to a number of Samsung phones, including the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, S6 and S6 edge. The changelog for the updates doesn’t include much, as it just states “Android security patches,” which is likely part of Samsung’s plan to fast track monthly security updates. Here you can find the changes by phone:
- Samsung Galaxy S6
- Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
- Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+
- Samsung Galaxy Note 5
If you happen to own any of these smartphones, and have yet to receive the update, you can check manually now. To do so, head into your phones Settings, then About device and Software update. If you have received it, and notice any other changes, be sure to let us know in the comments below.
