You can add MagSafe charging and accessory support to an iPhone XR, and you can even make it look like an iPhone 13.
YouTube creator Phone Repair Guru reveals how to make this weird conversion in the video below. You’ll need to take your iPhone apart, however, and makes some tweaks. So this is one of those projects that’s best completed using a couple of damaged iPhones as donors.

The conversion is quite involved, but it’s a great way to become comfortable with handling components. And the kit you need for the conversion can be found here for $39.
