Apple appears to be reinstating seasonal sales this Black Friday after choosing not to participate in one of the busiest days of the shopping season in 2015.

On Monday, the iPad and iPhone maker quietly posted a teaser on the official Apple domain hinting that discounts and deals will be in place for Apple products on Friday, 25 November.

As noted by Apple Insider, the teaser page advises Apple fans to “save the date” this Black Friday, as the tech giant will be running a “one day shopping event” which will be “here before you know it.”

“Come back this Friday to check everyone off your list,” Apple says.

Alongside the teaser notice, which displays the Apple smartwatch, the company has used the event to tout the Apple Store app to shoppers as the “fastest way to shop our one-day event.”

No product availability or pricing is yet available or likely to be before Friday. However, customers can expect free two-day delivery on products which are in stock and ordered by 5:00pm on the day.

In the past, Apple has been known to participate in Black Friday. While the company’s discounts and deals have not been extensive, Apple has previously offered discounts for items including gift cards and devices including Macs and iPads.

However, on Black Friday 2015, you had to go to third-party retailers and vendors to snap up deals on Apple devices as the iPad and iPhone maker chose to avoid the shopping day altogether.
