Hold the phones! Well, the smartphones, at least. KT Fretel laid to rest any rumors Nikkei Business Daily may have conjured about a joint venture with NTT DoCoMo regarding development of an Android-based handset.
Although KT Fretel has denied a joint venture, this is not to say that both handset makers are not working on Android-based phone designs of their own – this is neither confirmed nor denied, so no rumors are being started here!
One thing is for sure – more handset manufacturers is good news for the Android community, so hopefully some rumors of vaporware will materialize into some solid Android handsets!
