
Samsung India is targeting outdoor professionals with a new rugged tablet – Galaxy Tab Active2. The tablet adheres to the MIL-STD-840G standard and IP68 protection, which means the Galaxy Tab Active2 can withstand 21 different elements, vibrations, accidental shocks and drops, dust and water (up to 1.5 meter underwater for 30 minutes), and extreme temperatures varying from -40°C to 80°C.
The tablet also features enhanced touch, pogo pin, 4450mAh replaceable battery, rugged S Pen (IP68), biometric authentication and variety of sensors.
The tablet will be available from mid-March in India for Rs. 50,990.
