If you’ve got an unlocked HTC 10 in North America you should be waking up to a firmware update this morning.
The 304-megabyte update takes things to software version 1.80.617.1. Here’s the official changelog:
- Android Security Patches (June 1, 2016)
- Bug Fixes
- System Stability Improvements
While HTC should get kudos for quickly updating the M10 to the most recent security patch, we still have to grumble a bit that it doesn’t actually show the patch level in the phone’s “About” section. That’s something HTC needs to change.
Additionally, HTC updated its camera app for the M10 over the weekend. That changelog reads thusly:
- Improvements to RAW capture experience.
- Improved main/front camera switching.
- Performance improvements and bug fixes.
