Lenovo has announced that it will launch the ZUK Z1 in India on May 10. From the image below, the phone will feature Lenovo’s branding, followed by a “powered by ZUK” moniker.
From Facebook:
The Lenovo Z1 runs Cyanogen OS, making it the first device to offer the popular ROM since Micromax’s Yu signed an exclusive deal with the vendor back in November 2014. The exclusivity agreement has ended, paving the way for other phones with Cyanogen OS to make their way into the country.
As for what’s on offer, the Lenovo Z1 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 64GB internal memory, 13MP camera, 8MP front camera, LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and a 4100mAh battery with fast charging. There’s also a fingerprint scanner at the front of the phone.
Given the specs on offer, it is likely the phone will be targeted at the budget segment. We’ll know more next week.
