Samsung Galaxy Tab E

Verizon Wireless has added the 8-inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab E to its lineup of tablets. The carrier previously started selling the 9.6-inch version of the Galaxy Tab E in September.

The Android Lollipop 5.1.1-based tablet has a display resolution of 1280×800. Inside there is an unnamed 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for adding up to 128GB of additional storage. It also has a 5MP camera, Wi-Fi and LTE wireless hardware and a 5000 mAh battery.

Verizon is selling the 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab E tablet for $249.99 without a contract, or for $10.41 a month for 24 months under its device payment plan. People who want to get it cheaper up front can purchase the tablet for $149.99 with a new two-year contract.
