Samsung announced at CES 2016 plans to expand its Pay platform to new markets, including Australia, Brazil, and Singapore. As well as launching Samsung Pay in the aforementioned markets, the company will also introduce the platform onto Gear S2 smartwatches.

The three new markets join previous announcements that put China, Spain and the UK to receive official support for Samsung Pay as the year develops. That totals six markets that will be aligned with both South Korea and the US where Samsung Pay is already available.

There’s no word as to when Samusng will roll out Samsung Pay to these six countries, but we can’t imagine it being far off with competition already entrenching.
