It looks like NVIDIA has cooked up some pretty good deals for Black Friday this year, including a nice discount on the Shield Android TV and several games. For the Shield itself, NVIDIA will be offering the Android TV box at a $50 discount at various retailers including Fry’s, Best Buy, Gamestop and Micro Center.
As for games, you’ll also be able to pick up several Deep Silver games, including entries in the Saints Row and Metro series, for up to 75 percent off through the company’s game streaming service, GeForce Now. And finally, you can grab several Android games made for NVIDIA’s Shield lineup on Google Play for half off starting now, including:
- Contrast ($7.50)
- Doom 3: BFG Edition ($5)
- Half-Life 2 ($5)
- Half Life 2: Episode 1 ($4)
- Half-Life 2: Episode 2 ($4)
- Pix the Cat ($5)
- Portal ($5)
- Q.U.B.E.: Director’s Cut ($5)
The Black Friday deal on the Shield Android TV kicks off promptly at 12:01 a.m. PST on Thursday, November 26, and run through 11:59 a.m. PST on Saturday, November 28. So, if you’ve been waiting to pick up one of NVIDIA’s Shield set-top boxes, or just want to grab some games on the cheap, now’s your chance.
