Alongside the Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Pad 2. The successor to the Mi Pad, the latest version of the tablet eschews Nvidia’s Tegra K1 in favor of Intel’s quad-core x5-Z8500 CPU. Interestingly, the vendor is offering a Windows edition of the tablet that runs Windows 10 out of the box along with the Android version, which comes with MIUI 7.
Xiaomi mentions that the tablet is 18 percent thinner than its predecessor, and that the 6,190mAh battery is able to deliver up to 648 hours of standby time. Here’s what’s on offer with the Mi Pad 2:

Xiaomi will offer 16GB and 64GB editions of the tablet, which will retail for 999 Yuan ($156) and 1,299 Yuan ($200) respectively. The Mi Pad 2 will go up for sale in the country sometime later this month.
