Samsung is reportedly planning to bring Samsung Pay to China, Spain, and the UK at the start of 2016, after debuting in the US and South Korea on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. Samsung managed to process $30 million in transactions in South Korea during the first month of operation.
The information comes from SamMobile, who reports that Samsung Pay will be made available in aforementioned markets in the first quarter of 2016. Used on supported hardware, Samsung Pay should be compatible with numerous outlets due to the use of MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) technology.
