Pushbullet has introduced Pushbullet Pro, its new subscription model that moves the premium features away from free users. Previously, Pushbullet and all of its features were free to anyone who signed up for an account, but that is all about to change. Starting December 1, Pushbullet will begin charging for access to some features. It will continue to offer free accounts, though those will become more limited in functionality when the changes take place.
As you can see from the chart, a number of features like universal copy and paste, mirrored notification action support and priority support will only be available to Pro users. Some features, like send files, send messages and storage space are more limited on free accounts than paid accounts.
Pushbullet is offering two different subscription models for users to take advantage of the Pro features. First, you can sign up for a month to month subscription, which will run you $4.99 per month. Next up is an annual enrollment, which is priced at $39.99, which is cheaper per month than the monthly subscription. You can sign up for Pushbullet Pro now, though it won’t begin charging accounts until December 1 when all of the changes take place.
