Photo-editing app Snapseed has snagged a pretty nifty update today that adds in the ability to edit photos captured in RAW format. This is great news for those who have been taking advantage of RAW photo capture on some newer phones, giving you another option to edit the full, uncompressed photos right on your phone. From Google’s Anton Daubert:
Snapped now allows you to edit those RAW photos in the DNG file format right on your mobile device. You can also edit DNGs that were shot on cameras or converted from other RAW formats.
So, if you’re a big Snapseed fan, the app just got a little bit better. Daubert also notes that the team has polished the app up a bit to make it easier to navigate, so that should be nice, too. If you want to check out the latest version of Snapseed, you can find it on Google Play now.
