Microsoft Garage has released a new app for Android called Parchi. This new note-taking app allows users to scribble down some words even on the lock screen. A handy feature if you desperately need to jot something down, but do not have time to unlock your smartphone and hunt down that one app.
As well as being able to take notes while the phone is locked, Parchi makes full use of tags, just as you would on services like Twitter. Not only can you add text and lists to notes, but also pictures, colored content, reminders, and more.
So, should you use Parchi or OneNote? The latter is an ideal solution for those who require a feature-rich experience, but should you simply want to take quick notes every now and then, Parchi is a more focused app with unique features. Give it a go and see how you get on.
