For me, the crowning feature of Windows 10 is its beautiful interface and Virtual Desktops. The interface is so ductile that you can almost do anything with it. It supports much more than before, so many notable changes can be seen such as the new Start Menu and the black Taskbar which offers much more than before. All around, it is a very well crafted OS that has the capacity to adapt to the needs of many diverse users.
Vastly customizable, we have covered many features such as GodMode, WheelsOfVolume etc that are just waiting for you to apply on your computer. However, we present to you another beautiful tweak that you can use to make your lock screen look much better and warm towards you that is to display message on login in Windows 10. To do that, follow the following steps:
First, press ‘Windows+Q’ or ‘Windows+S’ to access Windows Search and then type ‘Local Security Policy’ (Note: Local Security Policy is only available in Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise) and click it. Then, click ‘Local Policies Option’ and then click on ‘Security Options’ in the left side menu. From the resulting options in the right pane, locate ‘Interactive logon: Message text for users attempting to log on’ and double click it to access its properties as shown in the image below.
From the properties, type whatever message you would like to appear on your lock screen and click OK as shown in the image below.
The next time whenever you turn on your PC, it still won’t be able to greet you with a shake hand but will welcome you to your computer in the way that you like best.
