Kindle Fire HDX

Four equal payments and no hidden fees make for a great way to get a new Kindle HDX

We’ve talked about the Kindle Fire HDX tablets before. If you’re looking for a great way to consume content from Amazon — that means music, books, movies, audiobooks, the web and apps — there is no better way. They have displays to die for, are absolutely fluid and smooth because of the Snapdragon 800 inside them, deliver great sound and are built well. They aren’t a typical Android tablet in any way, but no tablet from any company is better for reading or watching video.

And now, you can get them on four payments.

Amazon has a new deal where you pay one installment to get your Kindle HDX, then pay three more 90 days apart. Each installment is 25 percent of the total plus tax for the same exact Kindle as if you paid it all up front. The $229 7-inch version will cost $57.25 every 90 days, and the $379 8.9-inch version comes in at $94.75 per installment. There are no finance charges, no interest, and no credit check.

There are a few restrictions, though. Folks from Washington, DC or Florida need not apply, and you have to have been an Amazon customer for two years. In addition, you need to have a credit card on file that expires no earlier than March 2014 — no debit cards are accepted.

If you’re interested, know that you need to order by December 24, and this is only valid while supplies last. Visit the link below for all the fine print.
