No post-processing this week, but the contest entries were great regardless
This week’s photo contest let you go wild with your photographic creativity before and during taking your picture, but not afterwards with post-processing. “No filter” brought in a variety of interesting pictures that weren’t tweaked after the fact, and the results were great. It also means that the subject matter and style of the entries this week crossed a variety of genres, making for an interesting time browsing through the forum thread.
We saw 8 pages of entries filled with over 175 individual picture posts, but had to narrow the group down to just two winners to take home a prize again this week. Read along and see the winners, and you can of course view all of the entires in the original forum thread.

This picture immediately caught our eye with the extremely soft water contrasting with the sharp lines of the pine cone. You also have the interesting reflections and underwater sea life giving even more to look at. This one was taken with a Galaxy S4 and of course wasn’t edited.

Even though the gallery said “no pictures allowed,” this one managed to get snapped quickly before the rule was enforced. We love the symmetry and howe well that shows off the length of the room and the interesting bits of color from the artwork. Taken with a Galaxy S3 — great picture.
