Before we get your hopes up, that picture above is not the purported Samsung S-Pad (it’s a Samsung Mondi). The real S-Pad (or as real as rumors can get) is an Android tablet said to pack a 7-inch Super-AMOLED screen along with your usual slew of connectivity options (3G, WiFi, etc) and hopefully be awesome. We’re not overly excited about the name, could Samsung have at least tried to come up with something a little more unique? But the thought of a crisp and clean 7-inch Super AMOLED device running Android? That we want. The ‘S-Pad’ is supposed to be slated for a second half 2010 release in South Korea.
