Phandroid just got word that Android Market has received an update to allow developers to target more countries. Specifically, free apps can now be targeted towards: Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugla, Spain and Switzerland. Paid apps will be available to Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. And there’ll be local language support for English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Czech, and Polish.
In all, it’s a solid update for developers considering Android is growing increasingly popular across the pond and developers will have more eyes on their applications.
