Samsung has called for a return of every Note 7 that was sold or exchanged.

No matter where or when you bought your Galaxy Note 7, what carrier you’re using it on or how long you’ve had it, you need to turn off your phone and return it for a refund or exchange. The process differs a bit between regions, carriers and retailers, but we have the information for you here that will remove at least one step of the process.

If you have a Galaxy Note 7, here’s how you return it.

Return a Note 7 in the U.S.

Verizon

Verizon wants you to handle your Note 7 return online. To start, go online and find the Verizon phone you want to replace your Note 7 with, sign in to your account and then select “upgrade” — you’ll have the cost of your Note 7 placed toward the new device.

If you have a more complex situation or run into issues online, you can visit your nearest Verizon store, or call 1-800-922-0204 to initiate your return.

AT&T

AT&T wants you to return your Galaxy Note 7 in a store if at all possible. Find your nearest AT&T store here and bring your Note 7 along with accessories purchased from AT&T. You’ll get a new smartphone of your choice, plus a refund of the difference in cost between the phones.

If you can’t get to a store, you can call 1-800-331-0500 to initiate a return. AT&T does not want you to ship your Note 7 back unsolicited.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is also processing Note 7 returns in its stores. Just visit the nearest location, and bring your Note 7 along with any accessories you purchased from T-Mobile. You’ll be able to choose from a complete refund or a new phone plus the difference in purchase price.

If you have questions or can’t get to a store, call T-Mobile at 1-844-275-9309.

Sprint

You can initiate a Note 7 exchange in any Sprint store, and Sprint is encouraging customers to book appointments ahead of time online to skip any potential lines. You’ll be able to pick up any other Sprint phone, and be refunded the difference in purchase price if applicable.

If you need extra help or can’t get to a Sprint store where you live, call 1-888-211-4727.

Return a Note 7 in Canada

Things don’t differ between Canadian carriers — there’s a simple return process ready no matter where you bought your Note 7. Samsung has deals in place to let you return your Note 7 wherever you bought it and exchange it for a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge — you can also opt for a full refund for the purchase price of the phone and any device-specific accessories you purchased with it.

If you need additional help, here are the customer support phone numbers for the Canadian carriers, as well as for Samsung itself.
