The ASUS Chromebook Flip has picked up developer channel 53, bringing the Play Store to the device. Google said as much a month ago when it stated that Android apps would be coming to Chrome OS, and with the update now live for the Chromebook Flip, we’re starting to see the first instance of full-fledged Android apps and games making their way to Chromebooks.
It looks like the same update is also rolling out to the Chromebook Pixel, but as of now it doesn’t look like the Play Store is available on that particular device yet.
