The LG G5 is now available in India for ₹52,990. The phone has a 5.3-inch QHD display, 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage, microSD slot, 16MP camera with an 8MP wide-angle secondary camera, 8MP shooter up front, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and a 2800mAh battery.
LG is aiming to differentiate the G5 with its Friends expansion modules, which allow you to attach a camera grip or a Hi-Fi stereo module to the phone. The CAM Plus module offers physical controls for shooting photos, and an additional 1100mAh of battery. The other option is the Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play module, which includes a Sabre DAC and amplifier that lets you play 24bit/192kHz hi-res tracks.

If you’re looking to go the EMI route, Flipkart is offering financing schemes for the following banks: Axis, Citibank, HDFC, HSBC, ICICI, Indusland, Kotak, State Bank of India, and Standard Chartered. Rate of interest varies based on tenure and your bank of choice, but the retailer offers a quick look at the interest you’ll be shelling out next to the EMI options.

Chain retailer Big C has an online storefront through which you can pick up the LG G5. The portal lists stock availability at retail outlets near your location, and you have the option of buying directly from the website instead of making your way to a store. The LG G5 is listed for ₹51,990 at Big C. It is lower than what’s on offer at Flipkart, but you don’t get the extra battery.
