Facebook brings its Instant Articles to all Android users

Facebook has announced that all Android users will finally have access to its Instant Articles feature. Instant Articles is a way for Facebook to load news stories from select publishers without them having to wait for things to load. As the name would suggest, the stories load instantly, and provide rich reading experiences for those who are reading them. The feature rolled out on iPhone back in October, and Facebook has been testing it on Android for a few months as well.

Currently, there are more than 350 publications that have joined the Instant Articles program so far, with more joining each day. Some of the publications include The Guardian,, BBC, The Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, and many others. You’ll notice a little lightning bolt on the top right corner of a picture from a news post, and tapping that will instantly load the article for you to read.
