HTC’s Mo Versi has confirmed that updates for both the HTC One M9 and One A9 are both on target for release later this month. Google recently released Android 6.0.1 and sent the code to its partners, and HTC will be doing its best to keep its update promise for consumers. HTC has promised updates within 15 business days of each Google release for the unlocked One A9.
Lots of questions on this, so quick update: M9 unlocked Marshmallow OS update and A9 6.0.1 (with updated emoji) is on target for this month.

While this doesn’t tell us exactly when, it is still comforting to know that it is coming in the near future.
