Google has announced that templates are coming to Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides on Android, just a few months after they became available on the web. With the addition of templates in each app, you’ll have quick access to documents, spreadsheets and slides that have been pre-formatted for specific use cases such as newsletters, invoices and more.
While templates have been available on the web for a few months now, it’s great to see the feature make its way to the base apps. Google says that the feature is rolling out starting today, but we haven’t spotted an update on our devices just yet, so keep an eye out on Google Play.
