If you are like me and eventually got tired of the novelty of the Windows 10 background image on the logon screen, use login background changer to get the image you want!
The iconic Windows 10 logon screen image is absolutely astounding, but after a while, becomes really boring to look at. After allowing us to change the lock screen image, its only fair we change the login background image to match, right?
Keep in mind, that this will require the use of a third party software, so proceed at your own risk.
First of all, you will need to download the Windows 10 Login Background Changer [Github] developed by PFCKrutonium.
When you have downloaded the rar file, extract the contents to an easily accessible location, I chose the desktop.
From here on out, it is pretty rudimentary and literally only takes seconds to apply.
STEP 1:
Locate the GUI folder from the extracted Archive and launch the executable file located in the folder (W10 Logon BG Changer.exe).
You will have to wait for a few seconds and see the following window open up. When you see it, you will click on the following highlighted button and navigate to the new image you wish to make your logon screen background image.
STEP 2:
When you have chosen your image, you will be shown a full page preview of your lockscreen image. From here, you will click on “Edit Background” on the top right of the screen and click on “Apply Changes” You will get a confirmation box that the action has been carried out, and to see the magic of the login background changer, you simply press Windows Key + L or Lock Windows on the top of the app to see the results.

I did encounter a problem when doing this. When I first ran the app, it wouldn’t change the image. A simple reboot rectified it and I am now able to seamlessly switch one logon background image to the next without any difficulty. This application has been tested and running as of Windows 10 x64 Build 10586.36.
