Spider-Man hasn’t had a breakout video game in over a decade. The PS4 exclusive is making an effort to break the trend. The new trailer, shown at E3 2017, is full of goofy humor, acrobatics, and breakneck combat. Unrelated to the upcoming film and current comics, it promises a new standalone story for the web-slinger.

Spider-Man is the first licensed title from Insomniac Games, best known for Playstation exclusives Resistance and Ratchet & Clank, along with Sunset Overdrive on the Xbox One. The studio’s built a reputation on quirky weapons and protagonists with unique talents for zipping through colorful worlds — making it an obvious fit for a big budget Spider-Man game.

Fans are speculating about the final moment from the new trailer, which appears to confirm it will, at the very least, feature Miles Morales. The teenager first appeared in 2011, following the death of Peter Parker.

Spider-Man is scheduled for release on PS4 and PS4 Pro in 2018.
