Currently, users have to connect their Steam Link hardware to stream Steam PC games on the TV. Samsung however, has eliminated that requirement by expanding the availability of Valve’s Steam Link app. Users with their 2016 and 2017 Smart TVs can stream their games from their PC to TVs with an app, downloadable in the Samsung Smart Hub. The app will be available in 55 countries across the globe and if you’re a 2017 Smart TV model user, you can stream in full 4K resolution.

This is not the first time Samsung is catering to gamers. Previously, Samsung was one of the TV manufacturers that supported PlayStation Now streaming service.
