If you own Google’s recently released OnHub Wi-Fi router from TP-LINK, you may be tired of looking at its black or blue exterior. If that is the case, then you might want to look into the three new shells that Google will soon begin selling in the Google Store for between $29 and $39.
As you can see in the image above, one of the cases has a wood finish look to it, while the other two have a mix of light and dark colors. If those designs don’t work for you, and if you are the creative type, Google is giving people the resources to make their own shells for the OnHub.
Google has already released those tools to a select number of makers, and have posted the results in their OnHub Makers gallery. It added:
We’ve put together all of the information you need to customize an OnHub shell. Whether you’re using a laser cutter or simple finger paints, download the Maker Packet for 3D files, 2D patterns, and useful guidelines. Once you’re done, be sure to share your designs online using the hashtag #OnHubMakers, and we may feature your design in our gallery.”
